Loneliness is a place of experiencing emptiness from within. Being lonely is not what anyone likes often times there could be a bunch of people who could be around, but the sense of having no one to talk to or no one to connect with can make a person feel lonely. One important difference to consider is that a person will always have time when they chose to be alone. But, loneliness is the feeling of being alone and feeling sad about it.
Loneliness can be triggered by trust issues, past experiences or by negative situations that have left a deep scar in life. This feeling can differ from person to person, for some it could include social factors while for others it could be emotional, mental or even physical factors.
